Construction Management

Construction Services Through All Project Phases

AMI Mechanical, Inc. provides comprehensive services through all phases of the project, from initial involvement during the design phase to final commissioning of the project. The following summarizes key aspects of each phase of the project:

Pre-Construction Activities

During the pre-construction phase our construction Team will be intimately involved with the Design Team to confirm and help establish the shared project objective, establish lines of communication, provide engineering support when needed, assist with constructability reviews, participate in pricing exercises, assist in the reviews of all subcontractor bids received, establish project reporting elements, review the project budget, as well as establish our field office.

Construction Activities

During construction AMI Mechanical, Inc. provides management, supervision for all of AMI's labor, materials and subcontractors, document all of AMI's construction activities, monitor/maintain the project schedule, track payments and budget, coordinate with existing operations, monitor the safety programs, process and track all documents, and conduct meetings and on-going communications. We feel that it is a much needed advantage to have the Operations Team involved in all aspects of the Design and Preconstruction phase so that most of the constructability issues can be addressed early in the design process. This will help to shorten the project schedule, decrease budget and minimize the potential for change orders.

Accounting Procedures & Controls

Controlling costs and keeping projects on schedule are the responsibilities of the project manager. AMI Mechanical, Inc. provides the Project Manager with authority to make the necessary decisions required to manage projects efficiently and successfully, thereby providing direct control at the operation level within the organization.
