Safety & Quality Assurance
AMI Mechanical, Inc. feels that in order to consider any project a success they must be designed and constructed to our high standards and that includes both safety and quality assurance.
Safety & Health Assurance
AMI Mechanical, Inc. has always been committed to ensuring that our employees are offered safe and healthful employment. We will continue to strive for excellence in the quality of work we perform without compromising the security and well being of our employees. Each and every worker must play a role in AMI's loss control efforts.
Management supports the employees by providing the necessary resources to implement and effective safety and health program and provides training opportunities. Employees play an active role in AMI's program by participation in safety meeting, attending training workshops and informing management of unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
AMI Mechanical, Inc. is committed to adhering to all Federal, State and Local safety and health codes as well as standard industry safe work practices. But compliance with those regulations is not enough. Human behavior and attitude has more influence on accident prevention then conformance with regulatory requirements.
Because each construction project is unique, this safety and health program cannot possibly address every conceivable hazard. We are conscious and attentive on each project and develop site specific loss control plans that will account for the unique condition and challenges of those sites.
AMI Mechanical, Inc. strongly encourages its employees to become familiar with the guidelines and procedures outlined in this safety and health program and to take a leadership role in regard to work safe practices.
Quality Assurance Methods
Construction Inspection activities are full-time and include the following:
-
Our Superintendents ensure compliance with all aspects of the construction contract by continuously monitoring, evaluating, approving or rejecting our work in accordance with the approved construction contract documents, local, state and federal code requirements.
-
Our efforts are to endeavor to guard our client against defects and deficiencies in the work. As appropriate, special inspection or testing will be required, and at times we will make recommendations regarding special inspection or testing of work not in accordance with the provisions of the contract documents whether or not such work is fabricated, installed or completed. The special inspections will be performed by AMI's General Superintendent and Senior Project Manager.
-
We will record the progress of the project and provide accurate and precise daily inspection reports. Electronic daily progress reports will be submitted via our online solution, including information on the Contractor's activities and those of the entire project, showing percentages of completion.
-
A detailed photographic history of all phases of the project will be maintained on a daily basis. Each photograph will be labeled as to subject, date and time.
